Banks / Money Changers |
You will not be able to change money in Sauraha.
Most lodges however accept payment in foreign currency including
Indian Rupees.

Post/Telecommunications |
Most lodges have telephones with both STD and
ISD, but generally charge a premium. The few restaurants along
the main road also have phones.

Tourist Office |
The office is next to the Rainforest Guest House
and is open only during the main tourist seasons (October to
March). You don’t really lose out even if it’s closed,
since all they have on offer is tourist brochures.
